Walk In The Field Part 27 - Ground Plum

Legume:

Full plant view:

The plant was leaning over almost to the ground, so the pic looks a little odd.

Leaf detail:

This was some strange looking stuff I stumbled upon out in the field.
I almost stepped on it before I saw it.
It's on "coneflower hill" and I was busy looking at coneflowers.
I wasn't even going to post it.
Then I came upon the identity online.
Pic taken 8 Jul 09.
It's groundplum milkvetch.
