Yellow-rumped warbler

New bird.
A migrant.

My Dakotas Bird book says:
"Sometimes called Butter-butts due to the yellow patch on rump. Was formerly called Audubon's or Myrtle Warbler."



White throat would be the Myrtle form (SDBirds).
Or Adult Male Eastern (cornell).

Baby Yellow Warbler



Not sure at what point birds are called a juvenile, but he could fly.
(nestling, fledgling, juvenile, immature, young, etc. )

Hey, this could be papa, a little further down the trail.

Do the males/fathers stick around at this stage, I don't know.
The mama was right there by baby, of course, just didn't get a pic of her.

The female is a duller green-yellow.
